Please share experience on using the cheap ‘diamond’ Dremmel size cut off wheels. Are they cost effective compared to genuine Dremmel wheels, and if so where is the best place to buy them?

I've used dental parting discs, bloody Dremel is no bargain, and I live 20 miles from the factory!

A good source for diamond "Dremel" cutoff wheels is Harbor Freight... cheaper than Dremel and work fine.

A buddy reports that the quick change Dremel cutoff disc system allows some flex, and hence doesn't break discs as easily.

    I'm on the way....
Think I've had bits from them in the past, very competitive prices and great to deal with.

    Tools.
    So far I've ordered-
    dental picks
    alligator forecepts
    vice
    accessory vice jaws
All the above after watching BerniewDawg videos.

    I've also ordered these materials-
Optimus multifunction control stick (hoping it will work on my stoves, it's a Taiwan import)
    Primus NRV valves via Juliands
    Graphite foil
    Primus Stove Key for NRV
    Gaskets and pips
    Optimuss 111 pallet/heat plane
    Leathers and cup washers
Optimus 111T pump plug stove part from KiteLamp (we'll if this is a leather pump replacement when it gets here)

    And I now own 2 x 111B's and 1x 111T.

Next thing to acquire is a work table of some sort. I've never done anything mechanical (well I did replace the wick in my Optimus 99) and will need something to mount the vice on.

Not saying I'm fully vested in Optimus stoves of old but I'm seriously curious about the whole affair.
