Hi to everyone at CCS with all the help from this site I have started to fix some of my stoves my first success is my Trum 38 the info I got from this site is brill Thanks to all members who share there info the filter wire was snapped in two so I made another one from some wire and rethreaded it as you can see I now have a working stove.

Welcome and well done with that fettle. I too would like to know the size of that Turm, I have never seen that model yet. You are so lucky to be in Cumbria. I spent many happy days climbing and hill walking there. Steve.
Welcome aboard the Ship of Pyros(Tm) The one place where it's ok to listen to the voices that tell you they all have to burn! Nice fix up on the Turm, I used one for ages as a coffee maker, neat thing. I have a sneaking liking for bench top stoves.
Hi Matukat the stove is 10"x6"x3" or if your in the modern world 26cm length 15cm wide 7cm high hope this is of help
