Hello, I have never seen this stove before (we learn at any age) but one thing is sure the french army works always the same way on this kind of things. CARRA 1957 means that the item was made in the town of CARRA in 1957. CDF is a bit more difficult to find but 'civil defense France" doesn't exist. I think it probably refere to the mecanism patent. @Labargorri Thanks for posting and welcome! I wonder if maybe that’s the manufacturer of the locking catch rather than the whole stove? Manufacturer is Te.De and the ‘Déposé’ and ‘Paris’ is I think a reference to a patent being filed in Paris. Something similar on the locking catch of this Tudor Court (TGA) butane stove, the stamp of a manufacturer of the catch who’s not the manufacturer of the stove - so it’s just a bought-in component from a specialist in such mechanisms.
