Now it makes sense hope that cap is made either from some titanium exhaust part(some high end motorcycles have it) or austenitic 310S stainless steel. It can be used at 1050°C continuous service! Had a video from a motorcycles meeting where I and a friend got so drunk that we reved a gsxr 1000 until its one walled thin exhausts got glowing red/white. Never had a problem despite doing this many times over years of riding! You japanese motorcycle engineers/manufacturers have my respect! Never believed an engine can be abused that bad and still run like it never happened for years... Cheers
