Galliers & Klaerr Style Kettle

    I “gathered” this addition to my kettle collection today.

    I’ve said “style” because of the obvious similarities in construction to these two Galliers & Klaerr kettles that I already have:

    There is no “Galliers & Klaerr” cartouche (or any indication of there ever being one).

    The method of heat transfer is the same:

    The notable differences are that it is constructed with brass (rather than copper and it’s size:

    It dwarfs a 2 pint Primus No: 1

    I measured 6 pints in the old currency (3.4 litres), but sadly it does have a leak…
