    The standard difference between JetA and JetA-1 is that the freezing point of JetA-1 is lower than JetA (while their flash points and auto-ignition temperatures are similar). Also JetA-1 has to have a mandatory anti-static additive.

    The jet fuel used in extreme cold environments may have other additives. This is one of the reasons why Jet-A and Jet-A1 is being replaced by JP5 (NATO = F-44) in many Antarctic shipping and air operations.

    Anyway... Standard JetA-1 (not JP5) is the huge proportion of domestic kerosene sales in Australia.
