For Kerosene I always bought This one from "Brico" in Belgium. Burns really clean and without too much odor. They also sell them in 5L jugs. Forever petroleum voor verwarming 1L
For those in the US, many (most?) Walmart's will let you buy Crown fuel online for under $8 per gallon, but for this deal, you must buy it online for store pickup. You will NOT get this price purchasing in store. I thought this was just temporary, but apparently this deal is still going on.
If you live in surrey or don't mind the £5.95 delivery fee on orders under £50, then Tetrosyl - PWD005 Panel Wipe is available for £14.02 for a 5Ltr tin. SDS: PWD005_SDS.pdf (tetconnect.com) It's Naphtha but with the main constituent being Heptane 60% to 100% (Naphtha is technically a blend of hydrocarbons whereas Heptane is a single hydrocarbon constituent of Naphtha which is what EU Colemans fuel is). If you do a search locally to where you live (UK) you may find it on offer as well or even a "Found it cheaper - Price match" As much as I prefer Paraffin as I use it in my Pressure lamps, I'm finding myself using white gas more as Paraffin seems to be increasingly harder to get plus my stoves work on White gas.
Rye Oils (Rye harbour, Sussex, Uk) currently sell 20 litres of clean burning paraffin for £47 delivered to mainland UK. Lots of other oils as well! If you are local you can collect. Paraffin 20 litre - Delivered 01797 223374 (ryeoil.co.uk) I bought some for my greenhouse heater a year ago and it burnt clean, also used it in the camping stove OK.
$60 for 5 gallons is fairly competitive right now, though I see that price went out the day you posted it. Otherwise, I do better to get a can and go to one of a few select gas stations in my area. I think the rate isi $8.50 or so per gallon right now in Alabama. ...though I'll have to check ordering it at walmart.com to see what I get after seeing the mention where doing so gives a discount.
...and you would be correct. I was referring to kerosene, as was being shown. Our gasoline is now $3.09 a gallon, btw.
Ooh that's cheap gasoline. I'd love petrol that cheap. It's about $2.70 a litre here. For my fellow Kiwi's: Bunnings seems to be about the cheapest place to buy Shelite/fuelite and is close to the cheapest for Meths and Kero.
Middle 4's here, nearish to Ed's neighborhood. Been a couple weeks since I've bought gasoline, though. Usually an every ~ 4 days occurrence.
Actually better than I thought; filled the tank at $4.07 this morning. Had been out of town and not driving much lately. It's gone down a lot lately. This state has very high gasoline taxes, so it never gets as low as some places.
