This is very small stove, the bulb on the stalk is the container for the methylated spirits, about 180ml. Length 25 cm height 12cm The body of the stove is enamelled tin, burner tube non ferrous, burner and spirit bowl steel, bulb and support nickel plated steel and brass. This is one of 5 stoves that came home on Sunday. Greedy I know but what else can I do when they are just sitting up on a shelf waiting for a new home. It has been fun cleaning it up, quite an easy task. Probably made in Australia from local and imported parts. Absolutely no names on any of the pieces. If any one can shed a little light I will be pleased, otherwise it will go to join the other no-names in the Gallery. I am developing quite a passion for this style of stove. cheers to all Sooty
Nice stove, I too really like the meths stoves. I have a Austral 66 cast iron stove, Also made in austrailia and quite big and solid with a large burner yet to fettle, Its the same style as yours.
