Need help with this stove What kind of gas bottle does this use Any idea on age? Unable to find a serial no/ model no Any help would be greatly appreciated
Those little canisters are not available new, once in a while you can find some at yard sales and the like. Once you have a pair, you can refill them.
It's hard to tell scale from your photo of the part that inserts into the canister, but that looks like it takes the same butane canisters that were used in Coleman Picnic Stoves and the Hank Roberts Mini Stove. Look here. Majicwrench is correct; that style of gas canister is no longer available. There have been adapters available on the web. You can use the Search facility on this site to look for the stoves I mentioned, and see if there's a link for the adapter. (I know these adapters have been available, because I purchased one to use with my Picnic Stove, but now I can't find the link.) ....Arch
First time reply. Forgive me if I goof. Rebranded stove Metal Craft. They are a good stove except the pesky cans. It is possible to get an adaptor to run these. I run mine a lot. The supplier is out of them right now. There should be a small rod on each burner to adjust air fuel.
