    Good evening,

my name is Peter from Germany and I’m a hanging around here mostly in „read only“ mode - until today :)
Here are one of my two 8R and one of my 2 123R boiling water for some pasta in a harbor in The Netherlands.

    Hi Peter,

welcome to the CCS foro. I just return from Berlin this week. I spent a amazing week riding close the Poland border.

@Frank: I come to Friesland at least once a year - I love it!
@pau-i-amor: thanks for the link, looks like you've seen parts of Germany I've never been... I didn't understand an awful lot but it looks like you liked it :)

Now, back to stoves: Here are the only two pics from last year and the first time with my then new-to-me 8R:

Running at full throttle it did attract quite a bit of attention and everybody loved it :D

    Hi Peter,

now your next measure as a professional stovie could perhaps be one or two BernieDawg silent-burner caps, you know, it is always wise to be prepared when new regulations by the government about maximum noise levels of burners and stoves must be expected  .
I already did my part and received two caps a week ago (while I was on holiday they were being 3-D-printed in Belgium - pretty practical ;) ). Now I love my Optimus 123 and my Primus 71 even more (if there wasn't the weight... :? )...

    Regards from Mainhattan, Philipp
