Here are some pictures of a Hipolito adjustable burner I bought a few weeks ago from a dealer in the United States for 39.99 USD. It is made in Portugal. I am not 100% sure when the burner was made but I would guess around the 1980's. The burner has a locking brass outer cap with a steel inter cap. The standard kerosene jet with a cleaning needle with 6 teeth. The spindle isn't square at the control knob end but round with a hole drilled through it. The heatproof packing is worthless. The burner is very well made and well worth the money. Note: the spirit cup is an old stock from a Primus 5 and the riser is from a Svea 106. Jeff
Hi, These Portuguese burners can be very good. I have found that most of the regulated burners intended for No.5R stoves and Ranges have round section spindles, whereas those on Op.8 and 111 stoves have the square section spindles: https://classiccampstoves.com/threads/8449 Best Regards, Kerophile.
Hello Doron, Sorry I missed your post. I believe he still sells them. A supplier in North Carolina. Called Southern Lamp Supply. I don't think they ship to your side of the pond unfortunately. Link Cheers, Jeff
