Interesting. The last stove I aquired was covered in black soot and stunk up the truck on the way home. I'm assuming the original owner ran kerosene through it instead of white gas. Did you get a washer for the fill cap yet?
Today, I replaced the O ring with a washer, took some doing, but it held pressure much longer. Would run maybe five minutes before getting low. Have a kit ordered from our sponsor. I think the previous user did not prime it enough due to soot around the burner tubes. His loss. Will check for any other leaks when I get the right parts. Duane
