Aloha Nick, If the quieter stove that you have developed a cap for comes with the stove pictures thats a pretty good deal I'll take 2 You have to be careful turning around with that pipe in your mouth, its all fun & games until someone loses an eye!
Refine it? Hang on, Dave Colter's told us he bought the 123 cap, so it's not a gift or a test model to check out and report back on but the retail version and it won't sustain a simmer? I'm supposing that with the production method of computer-controlled metal deposition we're talking perfect clones free of the burrs, blobs of excess silbraze and whatever other glitches casting or metal fabricating/machining processes can throw up on an individual specimen from time-to-time? So it isn't a case of returning it for one that's turned out better? There's a yet-to-be-resolved shortfall in the basic design? I see. John
