Was gifted a Turner No.1111 single from CCS member Ken @snwcmpr at CASA #12 meet-up. I paid him but he returned good green. Thank you , thank you for gift. Very special stove from special guy.
Ken is a brilliant machinist and made new generator rod with needle and jet, yes he made a jet! He returned it to the guy @dday he did the work for and years later it was gifted back to him. Well anyway I got it last week with Jet that needed drilling. Pulled out my mini lathe and some small bits and bingo. That guide rod is critical to get hole in center. Went two thou up from what picker wire was. The rod in tailstock I put finger pressure on is on same horizontal axis as drill bit. Photo is misleading.

It couldn't be gifted to a nicer man. It was really a pleasure to meet you the other day.

Pleasure to meet you and wife also. It's going camping soon and will be use often. Really good solid cooking platform, so much better than 500 IMHO.
