I agree that the stove in the advert drawing looks like a No. 8. A year later, 1932, Prentiss Wabers changed the position of the fuel tanks from the side to the front of the stove.
I didn't have a clue as to the make of the stove. As I said, it was the style of the pump that caught my eye. A lot of people may not know this but in 1938 Prentiss Waber took control of AGM.
New to these forums. I have several old stoves and just bought a kampkook no 3 on ebay, havent got it yet. Found this forum while researching and you guys really seem to know your stuff!
Here are some of my stoves I already have and worked on. Ill show my "new" one when it comes in the mail. It has an external pump, never used one before. Is there anything I need to know about it?
Soaked the leather for a bit, brushed the connection. Lighting a nearly 100 year old stove the first time was a bit intimidating, but it runs amazingly. After she warmed up and cleared her throat it had 2 blue burners roaring.
Great photos; love the steak. And the Johnny's Seasoning Salt, the best stuff ever. Always on my table!
do you know the year of manufacture of the stove pictured? I have one just like it trying to find the age.
