Ah, such wonderful stoves! Can you imagine the day when the Chinese and Indian made stoves will be classics?
what can I say... ...things should do, what they were created to... or We need things for human - not for consumers... With NO Time To Live factor's. Till the 80-ties, in Poland we dont like russians technic, was "too heavy, simply, primitive" - now - tipical russians stove "will be" very expensive - good material, need. We dont knows, what is waiting (for Us)in the future.
I was thinking - IT MUST BE KEROSENE BOTTLE... Today Ive read "foot warmer" ... But George VI Rex period/ why this signature was added? famous factory J. BOURNE & SON LTD
J. Bourne & Son Ltd was a pottery company in Denby, Derbyshire, England. Why 'G VI. R'? It stands for Geroge VI Rex, ie. King George VI. In 1942 it was the middle of World War II and it was patriotic to proclaim our King's name on goods. Next, what is it? This is another item made by J Bourne & Son Ltd
Yes I know... i check http://www.potteryhistories.com/Denbyhistory.html Amazing is - How technical history was different in the not distant countries... For "Us" - this problem doesnt exist, it mean "We" not produced "this kinds" of things to solve this problem.
Hello Together, Found last Week a Dispenser for some Bucks, but its not for Kero. Its for Lemmonade, Beer or Scotch. Old English Stoneware from the Fulham Pottery in London, maybe arround 1900. Inside it was a black Dust, so I added Chlorine Bleach and after this NaOH to get it Clean. What should I fill in? Cheers Peter
Looks like a water jug but I suppose it would also do for dispensing adult beverages and the like. At the current prices for single malt, I doubt I could fill it.
pottery is typical for mead. - But "only" polish or lithuanian versions "półtorak" - 1 mead 0,5 water gives You full meaning of possibility of this trunk.
