Latest arrival… 1932 Primus 96

    It’s been a little while but £20 brought this little gem across my path!

    Date code says it’s a 1932 model - in lovely condition with a well-used tin, albeit complete with meths bottle, prickers and original instructions!

    The stove itself was bone dry! All seals and leather totally gone. However, a quick replacement last night and she fired up lovely, though I think there maybe an enlarged jet as she seems to be running a touch rich although with lots of blue!

    Anyway, for this who like such things, enjoy…

    It looks a bit too rich.
    You should be able pean the nipple hole down to about 9 thou of an inch.
    Check those pickers for diameter.
    There was a thread on that.
    When the millennials start talking about the new pocket rockets, tell them it ain’t new. I got one from 1932
