    the patent certainly is french : « brevet « is a french word

    No Michel, you don’t get my point… the French is clear to me :)

    But, how to pre heat a kerosene stove with a match? For me is something very hard…

    I assume the match is applied to the prime.

    I searched for IT226533 patent, and US, GB, DE, CH, etc ....
    nothing !!!

    the match seems not be to preheat the burner, just to light it.
    If I understand well this is like a Petromax preheater.
    The generator would eject a vaporized kerosene gas (even when cold) which instantly ignites.
    If your french is good, have a look at the two patents text.

    That's a very interesting stove! The burner assembly of the Record stove is the same as on the Le Merveilleux.
