Well fellow stovies here it is my firstattempt at an Arctic stove. With the help of our resident cap genius Gary this project became possible. The flame shots are hard to see as they were taken in daylight but it is burning so hot I think at full power if I had pans I would be in danger of melting the Trangia windscreen. Anyhow this stove really cranks and is now a lot quieter than the original version. Hope you all enjoy Dave

It appears to be in the Trangia adaptor sold for the Nova, presumably the Omni has a similar bolt underneath?

Another version of the Omni/Trangia combo is described at this site, although it lacks the Dawg component.
Thanks guys. The cup is one from Basecamp and it is the Trangia version. Much nicer than the Optimus one. The conversion was pretty simple I took of the body and legs of the original stove and mounted the burner into the adapter cup. The only drawback is the in order to breakdown the setup the fuel line needs to be unscrewed from the spindle. I cannot wait to get an old optimus pump so I can make the Kap Arctic out of a 111T burner - I have the Finnish plate adapter ready and waiting.
