I read your question on my handy - I can't find it on this site. But I can explain - on the second picture there is a place marked by a hair or fibre. This is a place of the gap - the pin hole in rhe pipe on the right side is - as a matter of fact - a jet.

I asked what you meant by writing the lack of continuity , which is there, but with two 90° turns.

I realized that you meant this break in a straight line and removed the question.
