My Monitor Picnic is not holding pressure well and I suspect it is leaking from the base of the lipstic vapouriser. It has what appears to be a rubber tap washer in place. Is this the correct washer? If not what is used to seal the vapouriser to the tank?

Thank you in anticipation of the usual excellent information and help.

    Ray.

It uses a lead washer not a rubber washer. The lead will conform to the ridges between the lipstick and tank.

I think a lead packing for a Primus 96 would work on your stove. Basecamp sells them for £ 2.00 (part #2088) But I am not sure about the size.
