Greetings folks, I'm considering getting a Svea 121L, but before I do, I have a couple of questions: 1) Can you share what the difference is between the 121L and the 121? 2) Is it a good choice of a stove to add to one's collection (I know that's a subjective question), and are there any aspects of its personality that are noteworthy, such as things to appreciate, things to be aware of or cautious about, such as benefits or potential problems? I have a handful of Optimus stoves but the only other Paraffin stove I have is the Svea 106 and I like how it works. Cheers
The stove is equivalent in every functional respect to the Optimus 00 and Primus 210. Very worth having.
Yes, L is for Lada which translates (according to Google) to Box, but seems to refer to tin boxes. Sometimes K (Karton) which translates to carton (generally cardboard box), is designated as well.
Thank you all for the information that you shared, and for weighing in with opinions/evaluations about this particular stove.
