MSR sent me a spec, it said Nitrile Buna. The o-ring fits and does not leak.

    OakNJ PM me your address.

I've used the Oring Store for my MSR pumps.

The snippet from MSR said that the Control Valve o-ring size is -008. and nitrile. That's all the info they could find.
I didn't realise that the Actuator Valve o-ring would be a different size. Until I found the manual I didn't realise that there were 2 o-rings. In the diagram in the manual it looks like the Actuator Valve o-ring is larger. I measured the original before ordering the things from NelsonAudio and picked the closest size. It seems to fit.

Hello, is that for where it connects to the canister? I have the link for the ones in UK, but 15 pounds shipping is a bit much. Do you have any extras?

My RapidFire works just fine. It will also work with some of the Lindal to 1 lb. propane adapters but not all and I am a little leary about using on a regular basis. I am not crazy about it and would worry about low temperatures and proper sealing, etc. with the old style Iso-butane connection this stove has. I have the newer Windpro II which is awesome and works well with smaller pots than the RapidFire. Just as the RapidFire is a Whisperlite clone, the Windpro/Windpro II is a Simmerlite clone.

I have a question... Is there ANY way to correctly change the metal hose and connection on the RapidFire or even the Dragonfly and attach a modern Lindal style connection. Also, does anybody have a source for replacement O'rings on the modern Lindal style valve for just about any stove?

I actually have had no trouble with the RapidFire whatsoever. Great Stove!
