My first 96 light up

    It took me a couple tries. Didn't seem to get it preheated enough to vaporize the kero. But finally...

    Hi, your stove has a nice blue flame so the fuel to air mixture is likely OK.

    If you think the pre-heating is lacking, you might inspect the tight roll of brass gauze which should be in the "lipstick" vaporiser.

    This sausage-shaped roll should be tightly rolled and a snug fit in the vaporiser. It acts as a fuel filter, but more importantly aids the heat tansfer to. and the vaporisation of the kerosene.

    If it is absent, replace it.
    If blocked, un-roll it, clean, re-roll and replace it in the lipstick.
