another horde uncovered --at this rate we will have all the collectors out in the open in no time at all nice work bench--looks like the real thing--wonderful screwdirive collection
That's a very nice group of stoves you have there Sweepr, really like your setup. I had a chuckle when i saw the beer on your bench because i always have a beer when i'm fettling with a stove on my workbench. Take care
Besides, the biggest my collection ever got at one time was 6 stoves. Over a years' time, experimenting, palying and genraly finding out what I did or didn't like bout said stoves, I must've gone thru bout 35. Beeing a traveler w/ no real "base" to work from, I tend to keep my collection functional and small,...by comparison. I can't tell you how many people gawk asking "how can you carry all that &^%$^. makes me giggle. Keep 'em blue. ....OK , hows this, keep the FLAME blue.
Nice collection. The ?propane -- is that red dual bottle job? It might be a bernz-o-matic. Apparetly, the guy who designed these was named Bernz. That alone makes me want one.
reggas I beleive I saw in someones collection it is a B-o-Matic. ZDP-189 I've used the cone shaped one and it work fairly well. It burns small sticks, you stuff them in a hole when you're cooking, I've used this one a couple times. It no 'Blow Troch', it has to be tended to all the time, and in foul weather it will work IF you get a hot enough fire/set of coals to drive out the dampness and the ignite the fuel. ainl 1996 This is some great beer [/img]
