Howdy, Baja, My pleasure, Lad!!! 8) I think you will be very happy with your new Nova, and especially for the price, I don't think you can beat it!!! As mentioned, the one I just received had it's folding handle put on upside down at the factory, but that was easily remedied. I'm looking forward to testing mine soon, both against it's older Nova Brother, and also against the newest MSR X-GK EX. Congrats on deciding to jump in on the Novas, Baja, and please let us know how you like yours, when it arrives!! Oh, and yes, please assign complete blame to me, if Mrs. Baja gives you any grief! Just tell her you were "following Doctor's orders"!! Take care, and God Bless! Every Good Wish, Doc Mark (Stove Pimp!) 8)
Morning, Doc.. Yes, I'm looking foward to seeing what all the fuss is about. Also to trying Riks suggestion about the Nova in the Trangia!
Steve, keep a look out for this http://w2.optimus.se/index.php?id=73 a two minute job to fit, and the performance with the Trangia is simply fantastic What you end up with is basically a roarer version of the KAP Arctic stove 8) 8) 8) The converter is about ?8 in the UK, so its probably $8 in the US
From base camp the convertor in dollars is $13 and $7 dollars postage to the states, so not as bad as I thought it would be for you guys.
Hey, Arch, Rik, and All, I just got one from A&H, and the price was very reasonable. I can look it up, if you like, but I think it was around $8-$12, or something like that. I'm looking forward to having time to play with it, to see how it works. I'm sure it will be outstanding, combining the Nova and a Trangia, or the Explorer #11 with a Trangia!! Great stuff, that's for sure! Arch, give A&H a call, and they can send you one of those adaptors. Take care, and God Bless! Every Good Wish, Doc Mark
