God yes Ian. I still have a 'tripod' for you somewhere! lol
Unfortunately now single and bad health but picking the pieces up and determined to move on. Lost a great deal of confidence though.
Not even at the point of firing up any kero stoves or lanterns, but I am determined to get there!

Just wondered why the date change again Ross??
I'm gutted that we won't be able to come again now.
The numbers attending had seemed to increase when you brought it forward to the first weekend in June!

Yes it's a shame it moved, it would have been my 5th Newark this year... Hopefully I'll be able to make it next year.

I can't make that weekend due to family holidays (half term). If someone is willing to take on collecting the fees, helping folk with the barrier (letting attendees in & out after hours with key card) & generally keeping an eye on things I'll happily move it to the previous weekend. Please let me know asap

    I'm on the way....
9 -11th in the diary, fingers crossed for goodish weather.

Funnily enough half term now has to be factored in with us as Sarah is now a dinner lady at a local infants school. We'll be doing pizzas again on the Sat so diners will have to be on their best behaviour this year.

Well I have booked a pitch for the weekend. pitch 26. So near to the facilities, but close enough to be able to use my scooter to get to you lot! lol.
Anne (my carer ) can have her 'comforts' and I get to play stoves lol. I have still not put this tent up yet and have to get so that Anne can do a lot of it. (so if you hear a shout for help.... lol).
I am determined to come to these meets and enjoy life! So We will find a way!

Alan, I have looked at the site plan and pitch 26 is in a great position.
It will be a pleasure to meet you. You have made the correct decision to attend the event.
You will not regret it and there will be plenty of help if you need it.

I have told my carer about how sad you lot are lol. But a friendly bunch lol.
She said sounds like they are as much a nutter as I am! Lol
Room in the car is the concern. I will try and bring a few stoves if i can ( might have to 'tuck them into gaps' lol.
I have many questions to ask people. I am hoping i can 'relearn' a lot. !
