@Simes Sorry, can't make it this year.
A change in my news. I will be at Newark on Saturday morning.
We had hoped to be there this year, but extensive April travel and various other business for each of us made it infeasible. I still hope and expect to go again within the next couple of years.
@shagratork Thats great news.
Unfortunately I have been diagnosed with post viral vertigo. Starting meds tomorrow.
@Trojandog, sorry to hear that Terry, think you were moving house last time I heard.
Shame a few people can’t make it, but good news Trevor.
Trevor, looking at the forecast you'll not be needing a bowlfire Sat eve.
Glad your fortunes are improving.
Arrived and encamped. Kev and family across the way.
My little light show. Dargue acetylene lamp perched on the JC Higgins 3-burner suitcase stove. Biolite Mk2 burner chamber with spent fuel on the ground, left. Optimus marine 2-burner, right.
Outstanding! Looking forward to seeing more photos of things burning in the days to come.
See you tomorrow evening John.
See you next year Terry or I may pop down for a visit for a day or two in the camper? Be nice to catch up?
See you next time mate.
Have fun, folks!
Wee bit damp in Newark but finally arrived. Although I need to find an ignition doctor for 'the van'. Misfiring like crazy most of the way up.
Sat listening to the whisper of the Geniol and feet toasting in front of the bowlfire with a can of Pedigree.
Inflatable sofas are the future folks....
Car loaded and now leaving. See you soon.
Already missing it and everyone. My day at the moment alternates between feeling so dizzy and sick that I just want to die in a corner and sleeping.
Plenty of pictures everyone. Catch you all next year.
@presscall I was looking forward to seeing the lamps.
Will get up at 4 am tomorrow (that's 3 am in the UK!), hoping to arrive in one piece early afternoon.
See you all there!
Drive safe Wim. I'm arriving tomorrow.
Well go here at 3.00pm and field is very nearly full. Going to be a good one this year.
