Newark Gathering 2 - 4 June 2023 - Official Announcement

I'm clearing the more domestic side of my collection so will be bringing some rarities to sell.

 

Which way is the wind blowing across the site? Is there a spare pitch down wind so I don’t smoke anyone.
This is not a big issue and I’ll fit in wherever I fit.
Arriving tomorrow (Friday) if I get a following wind.

 

It’s currently blowing towards the arches.

I was supposed to be here for the duration however, family and last minute work commitments I’m going to be a day visitor this year. Looking forward to seeing you all Saturday. Have a great time.

Didn't get chance to write anything yesterday, just wanted to thank everyone I met and spoke to yesterday for the warm welcome I received, on my brief trip to Newark yesterday. It was nice to put some faces to names and to meet other like minded people.
The displays I saw were very impressive, not just quantity but quality and variety too, it was nice to see for real, some of the stoves I'd seen in the books and on here. I suspect they will get plenty of use over the weekend.
I'm now home back in Cornwall and once I've down loaded the pictures from my camera, I'll put them up on here.
Once again thank you for the welcome I received, hope to get there again next year.

Thank you all so very much for making a virtually stoveless first timer so very welcome.
