Great news that you will be at Newark, Stu!

 

I'm working on the election the day before so the current 'Plan A' will be to load the car beforehand and leave here at sparrowfart +5.00 on Friday morning. Now where've we heard that one before...

Oh, and I'll pack a 96 or two for Bryan (assuming I can find them).

 

That sounds like a great idea David I'll bring along several 96's too.

Which part of the field are we in this year? I see in this post Ross has circled the small bit we were in last year, but on CPL it's still shows the main rally field. I'm not bothered either way, it's just I'm arriving on Tuesday and I think I might be the first one there and I don't want to set up in the wrong place. @Spiritburner @shagratork

I know no more than you.
Ross has indicated on the site map that we will be in the same place as last year.
I will be going to Newark on Monday and will find out when I get there.
When you get there on Tuesday my tent will be there but I will probably not be there.
I am driving back north on Tuesday morning to go to Bryan's funeral.

Just a word chaps, I popped over to take my caravan today and even though I was only there for a couple of hours I've been bit! So if I were you I'd pack some insect repellent just in case, the field was dry but looked very green so there has been a lot of rain over the last day or so.

Ta for the update Si, the forecast for the East Midlands hasn't been brilliant and it looks like an average Newark weather wise.

Weekend doesn't look to be too shabby, so long as the temp. stays reasonable.

 

Good news for @salan3 - there is a new, basic toilet block near the field now.

Reminder - late arrivals. Please don't disturb the warden. Park up & walk around to the rally field & borrow an entry card from someone to let yourself in.
