The good news is some one found out a way to simmer w/ a 96. Cool, may this could be an option to make for other 96s that still have a normal Vape tube as well, or did the conversion change the mount?

    Sorry don't think so Hobbo.
    Tried today.
Self generation after two primes with out using pump.
    3/4 tank.

After a few hours though the nipple got clogged and sooted up about 3/4 empty
    went out twice.

Did have small bubbles coming up from bottom of billy so be good for a stew etc.

May need a tweek but hard to just get perfect.

    Re lit and pumped up.
carbon ash and soot coming from vap and nipple.
    Hmm
Could be fuel but maybe don't get hot enough to gass ify all the kero.
Will put a tighter wrap of alfoil around tube next time to help heat.
But I think that it will keep getting hotter from memory and have to turn done every now and again.

Sort of altered the burner bell so it don't sit tight on vap tube so it can be removed if wanted.

Hey you reckon that your 210 needs cleaning after 6mths or more.
Do you do a lot of just simmering?? Or boiling mostly and frying??
Give me an idea of what I'm in for.
    hope it helps.

I do clean on the average every 6 mo. to a year. But, have only needed the white vinigar for 1/2 an hr. then dunk in boiling water.
I try to do a full range of cooking from rolling boil, to simmer (lil hard w/ a1 pinter) and any where inbetween. As a result, I'm looking for a 123, 8R or 111. If I'm realy lucky I might find a Phoebus 625 on ebay, it's the biggest, but, I wldn't say no. ;)
