Afterburner! Yes,I thought small tank has a big risk for overheating. I have primus 71 and 96 both after 20 minute burning I can't touch the tank. But this small one never became hot. After 20 minutes I can seize the tank and not hot just warmly. Do you know the reason?Because of the material stainless steele?Or thank bottom has a distance from the fire? So last week family camp I hold the stainless tank and use as a torch! It's very strange for me. Best Regard Honda
Just tried again. 10minutes later nothing have been changed not even became warm still cool. I would like to know the reasons. HONDA
@HONDA I did wonder how much heat from the burner you could get back to the tank to maintain pressure. How about calling it the 'Bored'
@HONDA Heat conduction in SS is much lower than in brass. Also just tank end is towards the burner so not so large area to absorb heat radiated by the burner. Anyway SRV could be a good addition just to be sure that there will not be over pressure in any circumstances. If you make larger tank with filling inlet then SRV could be on filler cap.
@HercL4D2 Honda has given all the instructions to make one, why not have a go. You may get some funny looks while browsing the isles of your your local kitchen shop with a set of calipers but dont let that put you off. All the ingedients arw there
Thanks Marc / Hercl Just now I found the reasons why the stainless tank dosen't became hot! Iwill report soon. May be new stove idea in my mind... HONDA
Small difference but so big differens. yesterday Today Shimens suggested me how much heat from the bunner I could get. I've got it! I try to make torch the tripod leg beside the tank, only this difference ,burning power became looks double!? And still can grippe the end of tank under this condition. So I imagin most of heat from through tripod.Just ida in this moment. And afterburner and snwcmpr suggest SRV.If I put I can make more small volume and one piece stove may be. Stove is interesting!
