Just to say it was well worth the 300 mile round trip. I had a great time though no too much sleep! My camera when after the first picture, so I'll give it a try to get the pics up tomorrow.

Smashing day & night (apart from Trevor & Si snoring). Completely forgot to take any pictures. Looking fwd to Newark & the next NE-job.

I thought I had it all arranged but I couldn't make it in the end. It's a long story, beginning with the opening of the Tyne and Wear Metro in 1980. Basically, my plans just turned to sh*t...

 

I thought it may have been some thing medical David, I hoped you had not done your back in lifting all those stoves into the car boot from your lockup for me . I really enjoyed the whole weekend, Gary and his family, even the dog, worked really hard to make sure every thing went off with out a hitch. Well done Gary . I cannot wait for Newark now, the excitement has already started building.
