I saw that once some years ago while completely disassembling a pump. I was just curious I then simply used fuel-resistant epoxy. It still works. Best juergen
Is there any knowledge about which of the CEJN-coupled pumps were suffering of this issue with the failing non-return-valves? This version here looks a bit newer, but still has this non-return-valve of the similar style:
@Blantka I have a pump like yours that was sent to me by another member here that was re-epoxied and works fine now. I remember the original adhesive used was green in color. I can't say this was a common failure as I have no information on how many pumps have failed. I have only seen pictures of 2. They did change the design when they went to the bayonet style coupler. Maybe if dropped on a hard surface the glue could crack.
