Anyone recognise the Swedish brand "Novic"? Purchased a No 5, looks like a Primus of about 1911 with big burner flange and spirit cup on the rising tube. It has access to the NRV from the side of the font. Fr Laurence
This is the type of stove that was referred to above: The external NRV mentioned by @darlton cannot be seen from this angle, but would have been the same as can be seen on this Novic No.6. It would be interesting to know what the difference was between the No.5 and No.6 models, they look all but identical.
