A bit of confusion!!i think i can see a jet/valve down the pump tube, and wondered about changing it,also where the burner screws into the stove it looks like an old lead washer was once there!would that be right?many thanks.(cant upload pics yet)

    Ok i'm with you now!

The thing at the bottom of the pump tube is called a non return valve NRV for short. It also has a lead washer. Buy one of each to be on the safe side.

The lead washer under the burner will become "invisible" with time and use. It's there and you have to pry it out with a small screwdriver.
