    and also included it in the thread. The problem of private conversations is that any learning is confined to the individuals involved in the PC and there in no benefit to other CCS Members who were following the thread.

    I made one out of a 15mm (approx) mild steel rod. This was for the type that have a rectangular bar sticking out as opposed to the slotted type. I hold the bar in the vice and slide the pump tube over it and rotate until it mates and then unscrew. All that's required is a hacksaw and a file... and a steel bar that's long enough.
