Hello all not real good at navigateing things yet but I would like to say hello , this looks to be a realy good site . About me well I am not a stove collector ! Yes I have some place in the neighboor hood of 30+ plus stoves but I can explain . I think they are cool and a great value plus I use them . When I camp or cook at my little cabin I enjoy picking any number of stoves to prepare the meal . Obviously I have mostly Coleman stoves ,but, I do have a couple beutys that realy do it for me . Off hand ,Prentis Wabers Auto Cook for Sears , AGM 3 Burner CampCook 1928 or 29 {my favorite } A sweet Perco marine stove and a500 spedi aswell as a 530 mil-spec. My good friend Bob told me about this forum and after looking I figure it is a nice place to visit . I look forward to participateing . Steve

Welcome to the Dark Side...
For a 'non-collector', you have more stoves than some of us!
You'll like it here, but say Adios to any extra pocket change, ebay awaits...

Welcome aboard the ship of pyros Scullins. I assume you mean Bob, as in Robert the ooops. Fine lad that and a great friend to all who have an interest in things related to spirit stoves. or stoves in general. He's been a bit absent from the site but i'm sure there is a grand reason as he really is a devoted stovie.

We like pictures of stoves and of stoves being used so git it on, fire it up, and show us your den.

    Good Morning, Scullins,

Welcome to CCS!! You have already started down the slippery slope, I'm afraid, and probably already have an incurable Stove Pox. So, why not just give in to it, and have fun?!! ;) 8)  Don't worry, we all have it, too, and in fact, we enjoy infecting others with it, just as Bob has done to you!! :D/  Take care, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc

P.S. We have more than a few great guys up in and around New York, so you're not alone up there! :D

Hey Scully good to see you here. You know me on the other forum as KevinJ. This is the place to be if you want to talk about stoves instead of Lanterns and Lamps. I'm hooked to both so there's no hope. :) See you around both places buddy.
