    It was not very cold at all, with very little wind and clear sky (very lucky indeed).

    If I recall correctly it was -10C at the Wilkins when we landed. When we returned to Wilkins it was -8C with wind chill sitting at -15C.

    On the coast it was exceptionally warm: between just below zeroC to about -6C.

    The weather gods were with us...
