    You missed something.
    In my opinion they are still the reference in caps.

    I had expected something similar from Primus....

    If I can grab a Gaz cap and hacksaw the stem off and put it on a dragonfly without a hint of underburn you would expect the maker of a very similar stove to achieve the same result before putting it to market.
    I gave up on my Gaz caps because they formed a very wide flame and 2 inches of the pot supports would glow red.

    One thought though is to verify your burner bell is perfectly round. If it isnt sealed around here underburn would be easy to achieve

    I am wondering as well what the heck Primus did with this silencer...

    Sealing is not an issue with mine.
    But Ken might be right with a recall.
    At least it is unavailable at the Primus shop.

    I think this might be a case of designed in Sweden and made by spec via China. And I think the spec might not be right. The flame from that video looks a lot better than the ones above. No disrespect

    Cheers

    Ah right! Sorry I knew that. Can you take a full power shot?

    2 pics.
    HP = Half power
    FP Full power.

    You can see that the FP flame is slightly disturbed, the head is a bit overpowered.
    It gets better once it has run a while and the whole stove has gotten hot.

    Stove was running on Primus 4season cartridge gas.
    Brand new full cartridge.
