    Hi all,

I have taken apart a Optimus 111 (Kerosene, I believe since it has 4 "pipes" up to the burner head) and it is missing the brass mesh filter in the fuel line from the tank to the burner. At least my assumption is that such a filter should be in place for the O-111 kerosene stove.

Do anyone know what thread count, thread thickness as well as the size of x*y of the filter etc?

If you have a link to a site that sells a replacement part or brass mesh with the correct spec it would be great - ideally from a supplier in the Nordics or EU.

    Kind regards,

[ps I hope that I do not duplicate this question - have been searching the forums but not found just this Q before ds]

Hi @Pelle Welcome to CCS. I cannot answer your Q fully, but here is a start:

Vaporisation Gauze for No.96 and No.100 stoves.

I have some of this fine gauge brass mesh and given time could make a suitable filter plug for a No.111 regulated burner.

    Best Regards,
    Kerophile.

Hi, I just extracted a brass gauze filter element from a burner of a No.111b stove.
The brass mesh is very fine, much finer than the brass vaporiser gauze that I have.

    The wire diameter is 0.15mm.
The mesh has approx 50 wires per 25.4mm (1 inch)
The rectangle of mesh which forms the filter element is 50mm long and 75mm wide.

    Trust this helps.
    Best Regards,
    Kerophile.

Brilliant - I'll order from there.

Many thanks for the quick support directing me to the right way. I have now also learned that I should have searched for strainer and not "brass mesh filter". Learning new english words here - or as we say in swedish mässingtrådsil :) Part No 216g

    Have a great one!
