This Optimus 111 green stove has never been used. It is complete and original with user manual, alcohol tin etc.
I wonder when the stove was manufactured?

    Hei og vellkommen @P.Mork,
Congrats on scoring your ...Optimus... "complete" as "original" aka NOS. NOS are EXCELLENT additions to our Reference Gallery. Thank you for posting.
re your "I wonder when the stove was manufactured?"
    short answer: c.1964-66

More lengthy comment: I do not doubt Norwegian Army as stated but at same time not sure i see anything that indicates this [could just be civilian?]. I will take the moment to note, as i've seen, 2 categories of Norwegian Army:
    A. Optimus fulfilling a specific army issue version destined FOR Norwegian Army (silent burners w/caps that screw down for just one example). NOS of Army versions are out there.
    B. many thousands of used/new 111s that the Norwegian military has processed in-house and issued /re-issued (or offloaded as surplus ). These, new or used, examples can include replacement parts.
SO, for both A & B "Norwegian military issue details may (or may not) exact match my timeline details?"
WHAT "...timeline details?" ? Some would ask.
Details found here: page 3 of OK, all you Optimus No.111 fans | Page 3
ON Page3 , near the bottom of the page, updated details begin with this line:
    "Rel 3.1
    111s in-sequence 1952-97" from there,

    scroll down down to "c.1964-66"
to read during 1964-66 Optimus manufactured 111s that are the closest match to your example.

I join membership in saying we're happy you're here. Thanks again for posting.
