camp stove ready for first canoe trip of season...can't wait(going in my latest full size 20 foot birch bark canoe)
i will optimize some other pictures if you like; this should give an idea what they look like and where they can go(my cat likes sitting in the models)...the optimus 199 and the 111B are my workhorse stoves on canoe trips to the islands(i live seconds from the ocean).. the islands don't have much in the way of firewood so these stoves are perfect for cooking fresh lobsters/clam/scallops/...and in the winter deer etc...river camping; i use a svea 123 for medical purposes...thanks for your interest ! anks for ur interest! the two full size canoes are 14'-3"...and 20'-9"...the 20 footer i like a cadillac!
you can use mine!...suggest a tent for me...mine have been either stolen or trashed...it was on this site i heard of the new zealand peasant knife...i use it to peel bark 30 feet in the air cuz is really is easy to open and close with one hand and great for cracking open all kinds of seafood..k-blam
use to b ham operator myself...field day /dxcc card/had a sked for months w guy from Antarctica(KC4USB i think was his handle)...did morse code...not much ssb
Found a NZPK on Garrett Wade. Interesting, I mayntry to make one. But I prefer the Leatherman flipper knife. It locks open.
Kabalumchunk Your sure live a difficult live 2 stoves a Birchwood canoe and a island all to yourself with Lobster and Clams I tell you it must be rough. Beautiful canoe your very lucky I have to say.
