I am trying to restore the Optimus 535 stove in my yacht. Are the burners, type 9007, available new anywhere in the world? Hoping someone can help. :frown: cheers John
An even cheaper fitting burner - not original Primus/Optimus, but similar, is the Hipolito, which is even cheaper here: http://store.britelyt.com/servlet/-strse-Stove-parts/Categories /Hans
Hi Hans, Unfortunately the regulated burners in the link you provided have been "Out of Stock" for several years. Best Regards, Kerophile.
those burners from Stuga Cabana are indeed the same as the ones in my Taylors cooker - good find! - and are the same as the old 207 burner. They will also fit the 535. Anybody know the difference between this and the 9007 burner? is the 9007 the two leg adjustable with 5 slot cleaning needle? I have found that over four years of daily use, the old 207 burners do not need much attention, I have only had to do a "heat and quench" cycle once - on one burner. Other than that, an occasional tap with a knife handle while the burner is running seems to remove any residual carbon quite well.. Was wondering whether your existing 9007 burners could just be cleaned - may need a new spindle or needle rack, but burner bodies give little trouble...
There seem to be two versions, a 9007A for Kero/Parrafin and a 9007B for Alcohol. This according to the A&H site.
