Yes the regulation via the tube is a bit awkward. When you move the fuel bottle, you risk adjusting the flame. Inconvenient when on small flame. But he older regulation was a pain to pack because of it sticking straight out from the burner.

It has a built in cleaning needle that you activate with a magnet on tool by moving it under the burning. It will then push up the needle.

It has a nice feature: When finished cooking, you turn the bottle over and it empties the tube, so no spillage when packing.

I ran mine on diesel in Tibet and it worked although there was a mess of soot on the pots.

I have a nonorignal silencer for mine too.
