I still have my 10" bought new and have used it from time to time over the years on my Coleman Apex stove. However every time is use the oven the food has a chemical taste that I believe is coming from the pot parka. It's a shame, it works well to bake things, but I can't get rid of the off taste. I've thoroughly washed the park as well.

That’s disappointing for sure. It’s not what I’ve found, so I wonder if the stove’s the source? At the simmering setting the O/Oven operates at I suspect the white gas or kerosene (with the appropriate generator) won’t be burned as efficiently as at a higher setting.

The parka traps products of combustion along with the heat in the convection process after all. Thankfully, the efficiency of the O/Oven only requires a very low setting to do its stuff and the butane stove with remote canister that I use operates effectively and cleanly at that setting. I’d be less sure of that with a liquid-fuelled stove.
