I'm guessing that $36 is shipping. Didn't someone mention a group buy from this fellow?

    Thanks Dave :!:
If I did it right the 111 is $126.39 and the shipping is 65.94. He did offer a cheaper shipping rate, but it seemed like it could take up to a month or mere.

I think you did, Shampine - I got NOK1050 to be just over $192 - as you say, that's around $126 for the stove and $66 for S+H...

I just sent Mr, Finn funds for one. Due to the declining value of the dollar since the 15th. The price went up 5 bucks. However, There's one on Ebay canada. At $165 already and chicken dumpling is after it. A burned up one in England at $100. I dont have a 111 and dont want to bid against a member. I,m hoping for one with the stamped optimus emblem.

I didn't get the one for 202 something on ebay. Stoves seem to be up in price lately. Maybe they don't make em now like they use to :)

Anyway, I'd be in for a group buy on some more if Mr Finn goes for it. Group buys can be a handful for the guy in-charge. PayPal works excellent here.

Don't know the exact count, but Mr Finn has way too many stoves piled up - better get a few ;)

Nice stoves from Norway - excellent pictures from Mr Finn and you know exactly what your getting - New or Used.

He mailed mine today. Damn nice guy it looks like. I cant afford another. For the price I dont want to use the thing. You are right . Prices are up. Im going to find another burned up 111. $50 max. I think the Ebay Canada one went for the same price as Finns. . Which is why I commited to Finns. Also I had to ask myself why the box was torn and retaped . And the stove never used. If you look at the photo , it looked like it possibly had a problem . The solder around the pump looked like it may not of been sealed correctly when made .And is incomplete. And it got wiped off . When you solder. You wipe the excess with a rag before its solid. To make it look pretty. On the slim chance the original buyer happily ripped his box open. And found it leaked . And tried to tape it and return it and was refused 30 years ago. I passed. By the way. About three months ago two crappy 111s from England went for $50 . ](*,) Sure would like to know if somebody here got them.

    Hey, Diesel,

My last 111 came from Canada, and cost me $41. It responded well to just a tiny bit of fettling, and works perfectly. It could use new paint, but I'll probably leave it as it arrived. Beauty is, as beauty does!! ;) 8) :D Take care, and God Bless!

    Evening, Diesel,

I like both user stoves, and a few virgins, too, just to cover all the bases. Right now, my 111 series stoves are comprised of mostly 111B versions, with four 111T's, one 111C, two 111's, two 22B's, and one very early predecessor to the bunch, a #11. I once passed up buying another 111, which someone had painted silver, because at the time I wasn't "into" kerosene. The asking price? Just $20, and I've kicked myself in the arse ever since then, for not being smart enough to have bought it!! Oh, well....    I will probably order a mint 111 from Finn, and I've bought two other stoves from him, and he's been absolutely great! Keep looking, and a "user" 111 will come your way. Time and patience are the key words. But, one will come, if you look enough, and if you wait for it to arrive! ;) 8) :D Take care, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc

Sweet stove! I like my Plain Jane 111 a great deal, in fact it's my favorite kero stove just so long as I dont have to carry the damn thing. A bit over kill for one person, it would be a brill 'squad cooker'. And brand new to boot.....your plan of 'use one, stash one' is perfect in it's simplicity. 8) I like the embossed case ones best, very stylee!

I have a second one in really sad condition, one fine day I'll round up the bits I need to complete it and breath life back into it, one of these days.....

Thanks for you kind words. :D The UK Ebay gets 111 listings for these god awful black warped boxes . Dug up from somebodies yard. That might be stoves. Every once in a while one goes for $25 or less. The exchange rate is so poor it has to be practicly given away to be worth while. I have parts except the burner. I can take trash and end up with a real nice stove. So trash it will have to be. If I could get a burner I could make one with what I have here. Jeez, that may be a good idea. ](*,) take care.

You should watch the NOK's now.
If you want to buy from Norway.
The US $ is stronger than for a long time.
