I've had a couple of these at different times and now steer clear of them as the cap/seal arrangement on both leaked. Before you trust one full of paraffin in your pack, fill it, screw down the cap and give it a right good shaking. Even warm it a little and shake it some more to make sure that the seal is holding up.
A little paraffin goes a long, long way and is not always easy to completely remove from fabrics.

Another good check is to squeeze it with the cap on, since, inside of a pack, it could experience a little pressure. I have this happen a couple of times because I either didn't secure the cap well enough or that it leaked.

I used to sell the red cap version... we had a lot with the screw cap splitting due to over tightening. But they were water bottles in our shop. The ones you have Tim look a better quality cap and plug though.

    Hi,
I will only be using them as water bottles if I do use them.
    Cheers Tim.
