Are the priming cup & inner burner cap in the wrong places here?

Indeed they are, and should be reversed.

    Hi Danta,
    Welcome to the forum.

I've checked the catalogues & literature I have but can find no reference to a specific marine variant. I'm guessing the mystery here is the 2 lengths of perforated box-section attached to the sides?
I'm pretty sure they are not original but am happy to be corrected

It looks like these have been added & the whole frame given a repaint. maybe they were to attach to some sort of gimbal

Since some-one mentioned a Handi stovette
Got it from Handi Albert tlast week or so.
I've got one thats the early type with the adjustable nut on the burner assembly.
Allows the burner to be rotated in the position you want withpout adjusting washer thickness.

Still only half done at this stage.
    Still needs to be completed.
Note the location of the filler cap etc on these.
    Copper tank.
It the right hand side of the double type.
Ie bolt the left side on for a double.

Was going to put a adjustable silent burner on it.
    Chop the tank in half.
Put a flex hose and make a Handi-Kap stove out of it.
But just can't do it at the moment.
Keep it for a crab boiler.
    First real roarer burner.
Sort of sighs and purrs loadly.
Yes it does interfere with conversation somewhat!!!!
But I think I like it!!
    8)
