This came on a pre-1911 Primus No.5 in the UK, but does not match any other Primus No.5 burners I have or remember having seen. So where does it originate? Does anyone have or recall another that matches?

    Specific features of note:

    1. Full 'U' primary feedpipe, not separate feed tubes:

    2. The central spigot is NOT the usual simple through tube, it is IN THE FORM OF A CONE:

with a wide base opening on the underside:

The very deep fully enclosed top skirt, shows no indication it ever had a fixed spreader ring.

Any thoughts or suggestions regarding origin, maker or just similar burners gratefuly received!

Additional point re the tapered cone spigot - the level of taper is such that a standard inner cap will not fit in place without having the inner tangs bent back:?
